Lead is a common element of many fishing lures and is toxic to the birds and animals when left behind. Lead is illegal in many waters. The Trout Lure does not use lead components.  

A single hook trout lure makes for a more secure catch and a smoother release. A lure with a single hook can be used in any water where lures are allowed. Treble hooks suck!
